We are dedicated to serving and empowering disadvantaged people in Lewis County. Our programs include housing, to childcare, to employment, and more. Whether you’re homeless, a veteran, disabled, or simply need help managing your finances, we are here to help. 

Children and Families

Their mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Our vision is to ensure that “Washington state’s children and youth grow up safe and healthy—thriving physically, emotionally and academically, nurtured by family and community.”

Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is Washington’s pre-kindergarten program that prepares disadvantaged 3- and 4-year-old children for success in school and in life. 

The Early Learning Coalition of Lewis County creates partnerships to prepare our youngest children for success in school and life through family support, program services and community awareness.

Housing Resources

The Housing and Essential Needs (HEN) Referral state program provides access to essential needs items and potential rental assistance for low-income individuals who are unable to work for at least 90 days due to a physical and/or mental incapacity.

The Gather Church is a non-denominational Christian Church established in November 2010. They seek to be the hands and feet on earth; loving God and loving neighbor.

Gather church provides housing resource navigation, free hot meals, and free clothing to families and individuals in need.

Health Services

Cascade is a non-profit Community Healthcare Center that has been serving Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. They have six locations throughout Lewis County Washington offering a wide range of services to meet the needs of our clients and our community. 

Lewis County Public Health & Social Services strives to promote, enhance, and protect the health and well-being of our community through partnerships, education, and prevention services.

Valley View Health Center is a non-profit, federally qualified health center committed to providing quality integrated medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to families and individuals of all ages, regardless of the ability to pay. 

Poverty

Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs without discrimination.

The Community Action Council strengthens individuals and families to lessen the impacts of poverty.

United Way of Lewis County is leading the community to lift 30% of families out of poverty by 2030.

Disability Services

The Lewis County Autism Coalition is a partnership of human services agencies, educators, health professionals and adults on the spectrum. We grow and sustain resources for children and adults on the autism spectrum, their parents and families, and our larger community. 

People with developmental disabilities and their families are valued citizens of the state of Washington. The Developmental Disabilities Administration strives to develop and implement public policies that will promote individual worth, self-respect, and dignity such that each individual is valued as a contributing member of the community. 

DVR is a statewide resource assisting people with disabilities to prepare for, secure, maintain, advance in, or regain employment. DVR serves people who seek meaningful, secure employment but whose disabilities may result in one or more barriers to achieving an employment goal. 

State Social and Health Services

We are tied together by a single mission: to transform lives. Each program works together to provide the best opportunity for individuals in Washington to thrive.
